Why should I hire SocialSnap Studios instead of a traditional photo booth?

Our SocialSnap photobooth is an attractive open-air kiosk, without curtains, walls, or a box. It does not detract from your event with a big black box. With our large touchscreen and professional PhotoEntertainers on duty, we effectively engage both guests and bystanders alike. Images are customized with on-screen drawing and props, and instantly emailed and uploaded to social media to spread the great word of your event. Our open-air SocialSnap photo kiosk is a clean, modern design that compliments any venue and speaks volumes about the care and class of your organization.

A social media strategy, whether for corporations or an important social function, requires knowledgeable planning as well as effective implementation. An important benefit of engaging SocialSnap for your next event is the customized social media consultation and planning provided to each client. Don’t under estimate this valuable feature.

What kind of events do you do?

SocialSnap Studios photo kiosk is perfect for corporate events, trade shows, conventions, launch parties, step and repeat, red carpet events, charity fundraisers, grand openings, golf tournaments, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduations, anniversary and birthday parties, retirements, reunions, receptions, and much more. If you can imagine it, we can do it!

When do you arrive at our event and how long does it take to set up?

Although it only takes us 15-20 minutes to set up in most locations, we prefer to arrive an hour or more in advance of your start time to be sure we’re ready to go before you are. Part of our setup is to meter lighting levels, check internet connections, and run systems checks. Pack up and move out takes 30 minutes or less. In no case, however, is set-up or pack-up time part of our billing structure. Our rates are based exclusively on time making smiles with your guests.

How much space do you need?

SocialSnap Studios officers will arrange an advance site visit with you to walk through the event venue and agenda, and help you decide upon the best location and layout for our kiosk and guest “posing area”.

Our SocialSnap kiosk footprint is just 38” square, plus a small table for the printer. For many events, we also bring studio lighting which takes up about 1 square foot to each side of the kiosk and greenscreen, if required. Of course, we need to allow an open space in front of the kiosk, roughly 8’ x 8’, for groups to gather for their photo. If a greenscreen is used, it will be placed about 10-12’ away from the kiosk with the posing area in between. SocialSnap’s space requirements are very flexible depending on your needs, but a space of approximately 10’ x 10’ is ideal.

What other logistical items are important?

If you would like us to bring regular physical props (in addition to our electronic props) for your guest photos, we ask for an 8’ standard skirted table near the kiosk to display the props (we will provide a table if needed). We will need access to electrical power source within 15’ of the kiosk during set-up and for the duration of event, and the ability to log into the venue WIFI for set-up and the event. We also ask you to designate a single authorized contact person who will be at the event, and contact information for a venue representative.

A nearby “behind the scenes” spot to store our monitor trunk and a small hand truck with equipment bags is also very much appreciated.

How will my guests know how to operate the kiosk?

A professional PhotoEntertainers are present at the kiosk throughout the event, encouraging your guests to step up for a photo and making sure they have a fun, memorable experience and to ensure everything moves smoothly and effectively.

What size pictures do guests receive? Is there a limit on how many are printed at my event?

SocialSnap provides a lab quality 4″ x 6″ single or collage photos in just a few seconds, for every guest in the photo. All of our pricing includes unlimited prints throughout the event, so no guest is ever left wanting. They may also email their photo directly to themselves or others, and post right from the kiosk to their Facebook page or Twitter.

How do I get copies of all of my guests’ pictures?

At the conclusion of your event, SocialSnap will present you a thumb drive containing all the photos taken at your event. The photos will also be uploaded to a secure webpage for your access. And at your request during our pre-event planning session, all the photos (branded with your logo) can be posted instantly throughout the evening onto your company’s Facebook page.

What is included and what other options are available?

Unlike many other photo booth vendors, SocialSnap Studios offers many all-in-one pricing packages that satisfy for most events. Pricing includes:

  • pre-event site visit with client for decisions on location, event agenda, and all booth options;
  • pre-event social media planning session;
  • unlimited photo prints;
  • social media posting and email capability;
  • professional staff for the entire event;
  • set-up and break-down;
  • physical props as well as electronic digital props;
  • Green screen and custom background (except for two-hour events);
  • Two custom print layouts (single and collage print);
  • custom screen background;
  • all images, original and edited, on CD or thumb drive, and online;
  • mileage is included within 50 miles of downtown Tampa; for other locations, a small fuel surcharge – please call.

Additional fees apply for specialty features, please ask for pricing for:

  • Branding on kiosk structure
  • Custom digital props related to your event or product
  • Premium or specialty physical props
  • Optional souvenir photo folders
  • Outdoor setup with tent (requires indoor backup option in case of inclement weather)
  • Green screen for two-hour events (included in all other packages)
  • Extended hours beyond five
  • Internet connection if WiFi is not available via the venue or client
  • Additional external monitors or feed to remote venue monitors

Decisions on all custom items mentioned above will be made and reviewed before and at the advance site visit, and noted in the final event contract.

How many people can take at one time?

We have had up to 35 people in one photo. Remember – we have no box!

Do you have props?

Yes. We have digital props on the kiosk as well as high-quality hats, masks, glasses, and other items for you to wear.

What are your payment terms?

50% of the fee is due with the signing of the contract, and the balance is due 14 days prior to the event.
